I primarily work in digital media both raster and vector, plus motion graphics and animation, but I am also a traditionally trained artist in a variety of media—paint, ink, pencil, and sculpture.

Prior to becoming a science illustrator full-time I was a scenic artist in the entertainment industry for 20 years, I spent two years in Colorado sculpting mannequins in clay and I've also been a zoo keeper!
